Assembly Passes 3 Bills Protecting Children

The Wisconsin State Assembly passed 3 bills protecting women and girls in sports and shielding children from unsafe transgender treatments. AB 100, which ensures only female athletes are allowed to compete in K-12 girls’ sports divisions, passed on a 51 to 43 vote. AB 102, which protects female college athletes from biological males competing on their teams at UW System schools, passed with a 50 to 43 vote.

AB 104, which would ensure minors struggling with gender confusion are protected from dangerous so-called treatments, passed along party lines. We hope our state senate follows the Assembly’s example and gets these important bills to the governor. These policies would go a long way in protecting children and female athletes in Wisconsin.
