As public schools continue to push policies that reject God’s design for marriage, children, and society, many families are turning to homeschooling because homeschooling and private education are among the only long-term answers parents have to the increasing influence of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies in public schools. A close-to-home example is the Green Bay Area School District denying services to a student because he is white, basing its decision on its “School Success” plan that according to Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty “prioritizes some racial groups over others.”
Too many public schools have become bastions of critical race theory, radical transgender ideology, and opponents of parental rights. Wisconsin is blessed to have a good measure of educational freedom with options available to many parents, including one of the best homeschool laws in the country, as well as a thriving school voucher program for qualified families.
