The use of illegal vapes has increased one hundred and twenty-five percent since twenty twenty-one. Despite a crackdown on vapes in their own country, China continues to market the products to American teens through appealing packaging and flavors. Parents and teachers are calling on the government for stronger restrictions.
This is an issue that demands the attention of the Wisconsin legislature and the federal government. A foreign nation is profiting off our youth at the expense of their health. The risks of vaping are well-documented. Clearly, more needs to be done to keep these dangerous products out of the hands of minors.
