At the beginning of this school year, Wisconsin’s D.C. Everest School Board voted to adopt a new Title Nine resolution that allows male students to use girls’ bathrooms and participate in girls’ sports if they believe they are the opposite gender. The policy was approved by a 5-1 vote. 26 states have sued the Biden-Harris Administration for their unlawful rewrite of Title Nine, which allowed the school board to make this change.

The Board passed this policy by redefining sex-based discrimination to include sexual orientation and so-called “gender identity.” Title Nine was implemented to protect women and girls in athletics and education; this redefinition endangers them. Schools must put the safety and well-being of their female students above a political agenda.
