Daily Signal reports that the medical nonprofit watchdog Do No Harm launched a database of two hundred twenty-five hospitals around the nation that provide sex-change surgeries, puberty blockers, and/or hormone therapies to children. One of those hospitals is Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. The database shows that at least eighteen children have undergone sex change operations at this hospital and a dozen others have been prescribed hormones and puberty blockers.
It is unconscionable that we allow confused children to be given irreversible treatments that can cause sterilization and numerous other health issues. We hope our lawmakers in the next legislative session will reexamine the policies that allow medical professionals to do this. Protecting children is of the utmost importance.
