In last week’s debate, Vice President Harris and ABC moderator Linsey Davis took great offense to Former President Trump’s statement that babies are being aborted in the seventh, eighth, and ninth months of pregnancy and are even being killed post-birth. Ms. Davis asserted that, quote, “There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born,” end quote. Harris insisted no woman carries a baby to term and then has it aborted. Both statements are outright false.
Here are the facts: twenty-one states allow abortion up until the moment of birth, and fifteen states, including Wisconsin, have no laws protecting babies born alive after a failed abortion. In some of these cases, babies are not only left to die, but they are so-called “assisted in dying.” The Left is scared to admit this truth because they know it is unpalatable even to pro-abortion voters.
