Parents in Colorado are outraged over the new LGBT social studies standards taking effect this fall, which have first graders learning about LGBT history, the rainbow flag, and transgenderism. Second graders will read about lesbian couples and transgender kids. Concerned families are calling it indoctrination, inappropriate, and even child abuse due to the promotion of transgenderism.
Schools should never be used to brainwash impressionable children and push radical political ideologies, but that is exactly what the Left is doing. Thankfully, Wisconsin schools are not required to include LGBT content in their curricula, but some schools may elect to do so. We encourage parents to continue keeping a close eye on what their children are learning at school.
