When purchasing pencils, pray your child will be led by the Holy Spirit. Or pens, pray your child will write God’s Word on his or her heart. Highlighters? Pray your child would shine bright for the Lord. Need crayons? Pray your child will trust the rainbow of God’s promises.
Regardless of whether children will this school year be in a public school, a private school, or are homeschooled, they need their parents’ prayers—and those of others who love them. Covering young people with prayer as they embark on another school year is one of the best investments we can make in the next generation.
