According to The Free Press, Christina Hineman, barely nineteen when she got testosterone from Planned Parenthood to transition to a male, is now suing the organization alleging medical malpractice. She claims medical providers, including Planned Parenthood, prescribed and performed treatments negligently and failed to obtain informed consent. About a year into the process, she realized gender was not her problem and regretted her decision. Planned Parenthood makes gender transition hormones available at nearly four hundred fifty locations.
Planned Parenthood is making money off these confused young people, especially young women who are a significant percentage of those going to the organization for transitioning hormones. This lawsuit is one of about a dozen being filed by those now calling themselves detransitioners. These legal challenges warrant close watching.
