Lifesite News reports that in a June video by Students for Life, a young woman named Angela recounted despairingly calling Planned Parenthood to abort her baby conceived in rape, only to change her mind after receiving support from a pro-life pregnancy center in New York. Her daughter just turned ten. Angela says, “I know many women who have chosen life even after rape and not a single one regrets that choice,’ she said.”
All human life has inherent value, regardless of the circumstances that brought about the conception. Fortunately more women who have been the tragic victims of sexual assault have been willing to tell their stories of deciding to carry their baby to term. God bless the pregnancy care centers across the country, who with deep compassion help women in these tough situations choose life.
