Numerous states and groups have sued the Biden administration over a Title Nine revision that adds gender orientation and sexual orientation as protected classes. Several judges have already sided against the administration in multiple jurisdictions. Lifesite news reports that last week, a U.S. District judge issued another preliminary injunction applying in six more states: Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota, bringing the total number of states where the rules are blocked to twenty-one.
Sadly, the rules are not blocked in our state. I spoke to a Wisconsin school board member recently where the board is trying to implement the new policy, in spite of all these court decisions and in spite of the reality that the new rules will impact sex-specific restrooms, locker rooms, athletic programs, speech, conscience rights, and more.
