Early in-person voting is now underway across the state for the spring nonpartisan general election, culminating on Election Day, Tuesday, April second. Early in-person voting ends in most municipalities this Friday. Wisconsin Family Council urges voters to contact their municipal clerk for early voting hours and to visit myvote.wi.gov to see their sample ballot before they cast their vote. This election is primarily about local government, the level of government that most directly impacts our lives.
Yard signs are popping up, forums are being held, literature is showing up in mailboxes as local candidates seek to inform us about who they are, the office they are seeking, and what they believe. Voting knowledgeably and responsibly for these school board, mayoral, city council, town and village board candidates is essential. Your voice matters in these elections.
