WalletHub.com earlier this week issued a report on the best and worst states for working dads. Wisconsin ranked 7th in the country. In order to determine the best states for men who play a dual role of parent and provider, WalletHub compared all 50 states and the District of Columbia across 23 key indicators of friendliness toward working fathers. The data set ranges from the average length of the workday for men to child-care costs to the share of men in good or better health.
It’s good to know that at least in some ways our state makes it easier for working dads. As we prepare to celebrate Father’s Day this Sunday, wives and children have an opportunity to really honor the men who love their families and work hard to provide well for them. Happy Father’s Day to all you hard-working dads! You are building strong families and deserve a special day!
