Recently The Free Press posted an article by Jamie Reed, a self-described liberal queer woman, who worked from twenty eighteen through twenty twenty two as a case manager at The Washington University Transgender Center at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She writes that the number of girls seeking to so-called transition increased dramatically over the time she was there. Ultimately, Jamie realized the center was harming children, not helping them. As a result, after leaving the center, she decided she had to be a whistleblower on this issue.
Jamie writes that often the teens seeking these treatments were from horrible family situations, reminding us of the importance of strong, married dad-and-mom families. Alert parents are a child’s best defense against this abuse of children. These so-called treatments come with long-term, and often irreversible effects, that no minor is prepared to deal with.
