Tomorrow is the spring primary election in Wisconsin. Voters statewide who have not already voted will go to the polls to cast their ballot for a candidate for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court. While four candidates are on the ballot, voters will vote for only one, with the top two vote-getters moving on to the general election in April. Two of the candidates lean liberal—Janet Protasiewicz and Everett Mitchell—and two lean conservative—Daniel Kelly and Jennifer Dorow. Information on the candidates is available at ivoterguide.com.
This race has garnered nationwide attention and involvement because the balance of the court is at stake. Will it remain conservative or flip to liberal? Concerned citizens should make sure they cast a knowledgeable and responsible vote and should urge others to join them. General election information is available at myvote.wi.gov.
