Candy, ghosts, goblins and… the Gospel? How are these things related? Well, they’re not, BUT we are coming up on Halloween, and that means we are surrounded by all things black and orange and full of sugar. How should Christians choose to respond to this holiday? It’s really a controversial topic and while you should always listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit and pay attention to the convictions He places on your heart, every believer ought to be able to agree that we are here to bring the light of Jesus into the darkness. One of the ways you can do that this week is by taking advantage of the holiday. Take advantage of the fact that friends are getting together or your neighbors are out and about more.
