Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
The word “Gospel” translated from the original Greek literally means “good message” or “good news!” Well what has to happen in order to share good news? Well, we have to actually impart it to others. You see, many Christians believe that they can share the Gospel merely through their actions. They do their best to live out what they believe. And that’s wonderful! We absolutely should walk out our faith. We don’t want to be a hypocrite that looks no different than the world. The Gospel’s changed us, Jesus has saved us, and we should live it out! But we can’t stop there. The message will be unclear—un-understood—if we don’t take the time to tell others about it. First Peter 2:9 tells us, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” So let’s learn tell others the Good News! Learn how at www.sharelife.today.
