Have you ever felt a void in your heart that can’t be filled? This is how Hermelinda felt. She lives in the country of Panama and has had a difficult life. As a child, she lived in a foster home with few resources. She married and had seven children, but nothing would fill the void in her heart. She turned to alcohol and dancing but was left feeling empty. After years of chasing meaning and happiness, her husband died, and sadness engulfed her. But God started to work in her life to draw her to Him. In June of 2019, Hermelinda heard the Gospel and placed her trust in Jesus alone. She serves today in her local church. And for her, at the age of 69, it’s not a limitation; she’s learned to share her faith and tells everyone what Jesus has done for her and how she’s become filled with joy and strength.
