Just like adults, children need the hope of the Gospel. When they come to faith in Jesus, it changes everything for them. Jesus told His disciples in Luke eighteen, “Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, many churches attended a training to learn how to disciple the children of their churches with the Gospel. As practice for the training, they went house to house sharing the Gospel. Children all along the way decided to follow them up to the church where the workshop was being held. In two afternoons, they shared the Gospel to four hundred and eighteen children and adults; and among them, three hundred and fifty-five made professions of Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
