Who are you praying for? Now, I’m sure that if you know Jesus, you pray regularly for your family and friends, and maybe even some people that you don’t personally know. But, are you praying for the lost? The Lord puts a burden on our hearts for others, and He hears our prayers…so if you’re praying for the lost, watch with expectation — He will honor your prayers. Pray that those who don’t yet know Christ that they will hear God’s Word and be receptive to it. Pray that they will be given the opportunity to accept the grace of Jesus. And also, when you pray for nonbelievers, don’t forget to pray for believers to be raised up to share the Gospel with them. Matthew chapter 9 says the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few, so ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into the field…and then be willing to BE one of those workers!
