Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your words to me be fulfilled.” In the first chapter of Luke, we read the story of Mary who was told by the angel Gabriel that she would conceive and give birth to a son named Jesus—even though she was a virgin. I can’t even imagine what the teenage Mary must have felt or thought about this. When Gabriel first appeared to her, the Bible recounts that she was greatly troubled. But after hearing what the angel said, Mary very humbly—and in great faith!—replies that she is willing to serve God and trust His plan wholeheartedly. Let’s learn from Mary that we too can walk in faith despite our circumstances. Because when we step out to do the hard things for God, like sharing our faith, God’s perfect plan is furthered. We have resources to help you tell others the Gospel like our program, The Christ of Christmas, that shares about Jesus and salvation. Visit our website at www.sharelife.today.
