What we’re seeing in the news today—the horror of what’s happening is Israel—if we’re honest with ourselves…can bring turmoil to our hearts. Sometimes it can feel like all hope is lost. When times seem bleak, there is a place that we can find hope that passes all understanding. It’s through faith in Jesus and Him alone. In the words of the famous C.S. Lewis, “Faith is the art of holding on to things in spite of your changing moods and circumstances.” Our hope should be placed in Jesus now more than ever. And that hope that we have is the hope that the world needs. Nothing else can satisfy our thirsty and hurting hearts. The Good News of the Gospel, of what Jesus has done for us on the cross, changes a human life from the inside out. So let me encourage you today: share the hope of the Gospel with those around you.
