This time of year, we’re reminded of freedom and how blessed we are to be free. You see red, white and blue nearly everywhere in June and July here in the States. Now, why is that? Well, see, there’s a sense of patriotic pride, all because we’re free. But far better than any sort of political freedom that may be given is the freedom found in Christ. Second Corinthians 5:17 says that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. And new creations are free from past mistakes because of the cross work of Jesus Christ! It’s truly a miracle—Jesus bringing dead hearts to life and setting captives free. So, who can you share the freedom that you’ve found in Christ with?
