More than a century ago, the great evangelist, DL Moody, was asked when leaving an evangelistic meeting, “How many were saved tonight?” Moody replied, “Two and a half.” Don’t you wonder what he meant by the half? Moody’s friend wondered too, and he said, “You mean two adults and one child!” But Moody wisely replied, “Two children and one adult!” You see, he understood that when children come to Christ, they have their whole lives ahead of them. You know, I often hear people refer to children as the church’s future. But children are a vibrant part of the church today. And now is the time to teach them the Gospel so they can learn it well from an early age. And, yes, children can share their faith very effectively. Last year, there were children all around the world who learned to share their faith, and they were able to share the Gospel with just under ten million other children.
