In the famous Lord’s Prayer, we read, “Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” What would God’s kingdom here on earth look like? Well, we would have to take a look at heaven first to answer that. Heaven is described as having every tribe, every tongue, every nation praising and glorifying the Lord Almighty. How can we mirror that here on earth? The ones who praise God are the ones who know Him. The ones who bring Him glory are the ones who have decided to live for Him. And there are still many who have yet to even hear the Good News of the Gospel. So how do we bring God’s kingdom here on earth? Well, we boldly share the Good News of how Jesus came and died so that we may have life in Him. And as others gain a relationship with our Lord and Savior, they too can bring Him glory and praise.
