“You had better try before you die.” I came across that simple challenge recently and was prompted to ask, “What is it that I need to try before I die?” Or “What haven’t I done that I really would like to see happen before I die?”
Ask 100 people this question you’ll get 100 different responses. Some may want to experience a luxury vacation in another part of the world. Others may want to meet a famous person or write a best seller. But what should the Christian’s focus be when told “You had better try before you die?”
God has a plan for your life. There is something He wants you to accomplish for Him with your remaining time on this planet. It involves more than just satisfying your own desire for accomplishment or fulfillment of curiosity. God wants you to focus on something that will matter in eternity.
Maybe you have a notion already of what that something is. You had better try before you die, if you want to redeem the time.
