As we grow older, those of who wants to accomplish something for God, are often tempted to despair as we see our time in this world drawing to a close. We begin to wonder if we’ll ever be able to do the things we hoped to do for God as a young person.
What we fail to remember is that while it is true that age often diminishes our ability to produce what we once did, we are also getting better at what we do with the passing of time. Chances are at 50 years old you will produce twice as much in a day as when you were 20 because you are now wiser, more skilled, and in a better position than you were 30 years ago.
When we realize this, we don’t have to view time as our enemy. God has established seasons of life each with its own challenges and blessings.
Remembering that you’re not just getting older, you’re also getting better, will give you the encouragement you need to redeem time.
