The bakery owner knew he was in trouble when the he asked the new baker to fix a batch of chocolate chip cookies only to return a few minutes later and see a pile of M&M shells on the floor.
Even if he didn’t get it quite right, at least the new baker was trying to create something, which is more than can be said for many of us. You have two choices about your future. You can either let it happen or you can make it happen. The majority of people, including most Christians, don’t take time to create their future. They simply let it happen. It’s not that they don’t want God’s best for their life, it’s just that they never get out of their routines long enough to make it happen.
The daily habits of life are what consume the majority of our time. If those habits are satisfying to you and producing spiritual fruit-wonderful. If not, begin today looking for better ways to redeem the time.
