Did you ever notice when you blow in a dog’s face he gets mad at you? But when you take him in a car he sticks his head out the window. I guess that’s just one of life’s little mysteries. Another one of those little mysteries is why we keep so many things around the house that don’t work.
Let’s say you’re in a rare mood to do some yard work. But instead you spend an hour trying to get the gas powered weed eater going. You knew months ago it wasn’t working but you “didn’t have time” to do anything about it then. You decide to plant some shrubbery instead, only to find the shovel handle is broken. But instead of throwing it away, you but it back in the shed, next to the electric hedge trimmers you’re going to fix someday.
Remember if it doesn’t work either fix it, sell it, or dump it. We have a lot to do for God in a short time. Let’s redeem the time.
