It’s been said that knowledge will not change a negative emotion, but action will. I believe that is a true observation.
Many people squander days, months or even years of their life away in depression and self-pity. They may read a book or talk to their pastor about their problem looking for some key insight that will help them overcome it. And that’s a good first step, but if gaining knowledge is all they do, it likely won’t produce lasting results. God’s solution involves taking action and spending time in ways that reflect a change of behavior.
If you’re having a down day today, it may be because you’re focus is totally on you. And nothing you hear on this radio station can help you until you’re willing to shift that focus to serving others.
Remember, it is not what you know that counts. It is what you do with what you know. That’s why taking action will overcome negative emotions and redeem the time.
