What are your key result areas? In other words, what are the things that, if you do them well, can bring exceptional results? This is a key concept to understand if we want to achieve our fullest potential as Christians.
Wise managers know there are many activities that can be done exceptionally well, even perfectly, and still bring very little results. Does it really matter for example how well you wash your car? Two days from now will it really make any difference if you meticulously shine every piece of chrome and put a nice, shiny protective coating on the tires? You could spend three hours cleaning your car to perfection, and it would still get dirty after it hit the first mud hole. Since cleaning your car is not a key result area, you should spend minimal time on it by delegating that task to your 10 year old son or driving it through a cheap car wash.
Concentrating time and energy on the key result areas redeems the time.
