Why Would God Tell Ezekiel to Do Something that the Lord Knew Was Against His Law (Ezekiel 14 & 15)?

Welcome to Prophecy Q & A with Jimmy DeYoung!

God told Ezekiel to take a bowel movement in public and to use the human dung to bake his bread. In the Middle East, animal dung (The Lord told Ezekiel he could also use cow dung) was used as a fuel for their baking. It puts out a terrible odor.

The Law in Deuteronomy 14 did not specifically prohibit the use of human dung for cooking. Guidelines were given on disposing of human excrement.

The Lord was using many different examples to tell the Jewish people to pay attention because judgment was coming and what was going to happen. He wanted them to know how bad the judgment was going to be.

Jimmy DeYoung was a prophecy teacher and journalist who travelled the country and the world educating the Body of Christ of the future events foretold in God’s prophetic Word. His goal was to equip Christians with the knowledge and understanding of what God’s Word says will happen someday soon, so that they can make better decisions today. Dr. DeYoung went home to be with his Savior on August 15, 2021.
