Welcome to Prophecy Q & A with Jimmy DeYoung!
Ezekiel 1:2-3 is a description of Ezekiel who will be coming to the earth. The phrase, “Thus saith the Lord” is used 217 times in Ezekiel. The phrase, “They will know that I am the Lord” is used 72 times. The phrase, “The word of the Lord,” is used 60 times. If you look at each time that they are referring to what the Lord says or the Word of the Lord, it would confirm to me that Ezekiel was speaking right.
Jeremiah 25:29 is a fulfilled prophecy and confirms what Ezekiel was saying was absolute.
In the last part of Ezekiel, 34-39, he says “I will…” do something 18 times. It is the Lord speaking. In Ezekiel 36, he talks about the land He will give the Jewish people. In 37:7-10, he talks about the bones coming together which is the regathering of the Jewish people. The flesh coming off the bones is the restoration of the Jewish state. Since 1948, there has been a Jewish state in the homeland of the Jewish people, where their forefathers lived and operated under the direction of the Lord for many, many years. When I put all of those things together, I see the fact that God’s Word is confirmed by the prophecies that have been fulfilled or are in the process of being fulfilled.
