The ecclesiastical Babylon will be headquartered in the city of Rome. After the Rapture of the Church, the Antichrist will establish the false church in Rome (Revelation 17). I’m not saying that the Catholic Church is a part of that, but I do believe that the Catholic Church will become a part of the infrastructure for the false church that will be set up that the Antichrist will use.
I don’t believe that Father Malachi had any special insight into there being 112 popes. It has nothing to do with Bible prophecy. This is outside of God’s Word and doesn’t have any importance to what we are addressing. This could be the last pope, but we could also have another one. I don’t take any credence in what Father Malachi said but in what God’s Word says.
The only open door is that people might be saved. I am praying that the Lord comes today.
