It is heretical to think that animals will go to heaven. Animals do not have souls. Whoever wrote the book that animals will be in heaven is hyper-speculation. I would not recommend that book.
I have a series on heaven but have never written a book on heaven. I do not believe that animals will go to heaven.
I do believe that animals will be in heaven. Since animals don’t have souls, they can’t be resurrected and go to heaven. Revelation 19:11-16 says that Jesus gets on a white horse and we get on white horses and come back to Earth on those white horses. At the least, there are horses in heaven. That is an absolute. You will have a resurrected, glorified body, and will be able to ride the horse.
