No, because Daniel 2 tells us that there will be four major Gentile world powers. This was 50 years before Daniel has his dream in Daniel 7. In Daniel 7, he talks about the beasts that rise up out of the sea that are yet to come to power.
The first beast would be a winged lion, the emblem for the Babylonian Empire which was 2500 years ago. The bear with three ribs in his mouth represents the Medo-Persian Empire. The leopard with four wings and four heads is the Grecian Empire. When Alexander the Great came to power, his kingdom was divided into four parts after he died. This is not one of those nations you mentioned, the United States, Russia, the European Union, or the United Nations.
In Daniel 8, it talks about these empires. Three of the four empires are mentioned in the Book of Daniel. We don’t have to guess. In Daniel 8, there is a battle between a ram and a goat. In Daniel 8:20, we are told who the ram and the goat are, “The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia. And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.”
This is not the quartet, the United States, Russia, the European Union, and the United Nations.
