In Revelation 12:6, the Lord says that I have prepared a place to protect the Jewish people during the last three and a half years, which is the Great Tribulation. During this time, the Jews will be in Petra.
In Matthew 24:15, Jesus says that when you see the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, flee to the wilderness or mountains. Petra is located in the wilderness or mountains in the southern part of Jordan. It is 25 square miles with color-changing sandstone. After Jesus performs the death sentence for all of those gathered in the Jezreel Valley, the blood will flow as high as the horse’s bridle (Revelation 14:19- 20) for 176 miles. After Jesus finishes building the temple in Jerusalem, He goes to the Jezreel Valley and casts everybody dead. All of the armies of the world will have gathered in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2). Let’s just say that 1 million people from every nation gathers there. China will come in (Revelation 16:12) and India will come in (they have almost half of the population of the world), and I would suggest that there will be 100 million soldiers in Jerusalem with six quarts of blood for each one of those people. He will cast them dead. Isaiah 63:1-6 says that Jesus is coming from Bosra in Edom. Bosra is the entrance to Petra. Jesus gathers those Jews who were protected in Petra and walks across the Kidron Valley to the Eastern Gate into the Holy of Holies. It’s 176 miles from Petra to the Jezreel Valley.
