Welcome to Prophecy Q & A with Jimmy DeYoung!
The Tribulation period is to win Jewish people to Jesus Christ. They do not become Christians but Jewish believers and are kept alive throughout the Tribulation period, entering in with physical bodies into the Millennial Kingdom, or they will enter in with resurrected bodies; they will not be called Christians but Jewish saints and will have a different relationship.
The modern-day Sanhedrin is made up of lost Orthodox Jews who do not believe in Jesus Christ.
The temple and the sacrifices in the Tribulation Period will be the home of a false Messiah, the Antichrist, and his plan will play out. They will reinstitute the sacrificial system in the Tribulation Period because they do not believe that Jesus Christ was the ultimate sacrifice and that He is the High Priest (Hebrews 7-9).
Daniel 9:27 says that there will be a temple with sacrificial activities, and the Antichrist will cause those sacrifices to cease. Jesus confirms that – the Abomination of Desolation. In Matthew 24, Jesus says that when you see the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, flee. 2 Thessalonians 2:4 describes the abomination when the Antichrist walks into the false temple on the Temple Mount at the midpoint of the Tribulation Period and desecrates the temple by going into the Holy of Holies and claiming to be God. This is what Lucifer when he became Satan claimed He would do. In Isaiah 14, Lucifer exercised his free will five times, and one of those statements was that he would be worshiped in Jerusalem. His surrogate, Antichrist, would get that attention in Jerusalem at the Abomination of Desolation.
When we see a group calling themselves the Sanhedrin who don’t believe in Jesus Christ, who are preparing to build the temple, and practicing to do the sacrificial system, I get excited because God has said this is the scenario that will happen in the End Times. We have been with all of these personalities and have done everything that we possibly can. We pray for these people, talk to them about the Lord, and endeavor to lead them to Jesus Christ.
Jimmy DeYoung was a prophecy teacher and journalist who travelled the country and the world educating the Body of Christ of the future events foretold in God’s prophetic Word. His goal was to equip Christians with the knowledge and understanding of what God’s Word says will happen someday soon, so that they can make better decisions today.
