If There Are No More Christians Added to the Church after the Rapture, Who Are the Souls Under the Altar That Came Out of the Great Tribulation Spoken of in Revelation?

Welcome to Prophecy Q & A with Jimmy DeYoung!

Revelation 7 says that they are the Tribulation saints, people who come to know Jesus Christ as Savior during the Tribulation.  They are not considered Christians. Christians are only in existence from the day of Pentecost when the church came into existence and were baptized into the body of Christ. The Church Age only exists until the Rapture of the Church.

There are three members of the human family: Gentiles, Jews, and Christians (1 Corinthians 10:32).

The Christians are taken at the Rapture into the heavenlies to be with Jesus Christ.

Those who come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, a multitude (Revelation 7:9), from the Gospel witness of the two witnesses (Revelation 11:3ff). 144,000 male virgin Jews (Revelation 7:4-8) will go across the world preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom during the Tribulation. It will result in a multitude that no man can number and will be considered Tribulation saints. They will have some responsibility, not the same as Christians (we will rule and reign with Christ in a different capacity than the Old Testament saints and Tribulation saints), which will include hands-on operation on the ground. We will rule as the queen with the King of Kings. It will be a different relationship.

Jimmy DeYoung was a prophecy teacher and journalist who travelled the country and the world educating the Body of Christ of the future events foretold in God’s prophetic Word. His goal was to equip Christians with the knowledge and understanding of what God’s Word says will happen someday soon, so that they can make better decisions today. Dr. DeYoung went home to be with his Savior on August 15, 2021.
