The Jews today do not have an opportunity to offer sacrifices in the temple, so they are at somewhat of a disadvantage. Jews today, instead of offering the sacrifices, do three things:
- They pray
- They give money
- They do good deeds
This is why you see so many Jewish people at the Western Wall. They are praying three times a day, across the world. For example, when we were in NYC and it came to a certain time of day, they would end a conversation with us and go outside and look towards the city of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount and pray. They would do this three times a day, morning, afternoon, and early evening.
This is why there is such an effort to rebuild the temple. So much activity is going on which is increasing on a daily basis.
Jimmy DeYoung was a prophecy teacher and journalist who travelled the country and the world educating the Body of Christ of the future events foretold in God’s prophetic Word.
