No, there wasn’t. From 1500 to 1917, the Ottoman Turkish Empire controlled the Middle East. In 1917, the British defeated the Ottoman Empire and the British Empire took over until the United Nations in 1947 gave permission for the Jews to have a state. In May 1948, a Jewish state was announced in the Middle East. There has never been a Palestinian state. The deputy foreign minister has put out a YouTube video which is on our website, The Israeli’s Decide to Tell the Truth About the West Bank. In the video, the foreign minister makes the statement that there was never a Palestinian state. There was no Palestinian state in the West Bank. That was the West Bank of Jordan which belonged to Jordan and was not a Palestinian state.
