Revelation 11:1 says, “And there was given me (John) a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.” John is commanded by the angel to measure the Temple area.
Revelation 11:3 talks about the two witnesses coming on the scene. They do not measure the temple area but will be witnessing and telling the world about Jesus Christ the Savior for 1,260 days, which is the first three and a half years of the Tribulation period.
Jimmy DeYoung was a prophecy teacher and journalist who travelled the country and the world educating the Body of Christ of the future events foretold in God’s prophetic Word.
