We cannot speculate on the Mark of the Beast.
The Bible talks about an identification mark in Revelation 13:16-17 that all of those living in the last three and a half years of the Tribulation period will need in order to be able to buy or sell. Many people talk about that as the Mark of the Beast.
Revelation 13:18 talks about the number 666, but it does not say that 666 will be the Mark of the Beast. It talks about 666 being the number of man. Antichrist will be a man, energized by Satan.
What we can say without reservation is that in order for somebody who is alive during the Tribulation period to buy or sell, they will have to have an identification mark on their forehead or the back of their hand. Could that be a tattoo of 666? It might be. I can’t say based upon the Scripture. Could it be a chip or a passport that has a chip in it? We cannot know about these things. We simply know that there will be a mark that these people have to have. If you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will be out of here before all of that comes about during the last three and a half years of the Tribulation period. We need to know this information so that we can warn our friends who do not know Christ as Lord and Savior, not just to tickle our interests.
