JD: Hosni Mubarak he was President of Egypt for 30 years and finally was brought down by the Arab Spring. But he’s speaking out now and he’s saying this deal of the century the peace plan with the Israelis and the Palestinians is only going to lead to a major explosion in the Middle East; talk to us about that.
DD: Well Jimmy I have to agree with him on that and he’s saying that from experience. You may recall that you and I talked about John Kerry’s attempts to bring peaceful solution under Barack Obama when he was Secretary of State. We all know Bill Clinton made a “successful” go in 1993. Well it wasn’t successful the thing fell apart within just a few years and Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated. I’ve just pointed out every time that the United States or other world powers try to get into this and try to push a solution it just boils over into violence because the Palestinians are simply not nor will they ever be ready to concede Jerusalem to the Jews, to the Israelis.
