JD: But then the final war is talked about as the battle to destroy Amalek. Now let me remind everybody Amalek was the grandson of Esau, the book of Genesis 36:12 Amalek as you trace through the entire Bible comes down to the Palestinian people of today. The little book of Obadiah says that when the tribulation period is over, when Messiah Jesus Christ comes back God will give Israel the capability of wiping out Amalek or the Palestinian people of today as if they have never been before. David, I said all of that to give our listeners a background. When we’re looking at what’s going on in the Gaza Strip right now the crisis in the political arena would you say that what we’re seeing now is at least the precursor, the setting of the stage for the prophecy of Obadiah to be fulfilled?
DD: Yes Jimmy indeed and indeed the stage has been set for some years now but we are building it to the final dimensions as it were. It’s up there, its there for all to see. The Palestinians are certainly a large part of the conflict that Israel’s been involved with. They’re the main front line battlers as it were. But they are at the core of it and they remain the most dangerous element for the Jewish people everyday. They’re the ones creating the terror attacks; they’re the ones sending the rockets in. Joined by others at times like you said but they’re the center of it. And they certainly deserve judgment for that and the Bible says it’s going to come and you just said it and I’ll agree, the stage is certainly set for these things to be fulfilled and other prophecies of course about the end times as well. Exciting times to be alive Jimmy a little bit difficult at the same time but exciting to know that this was pre-seen, pre-forecast in the Bible and we are alive today to see the final acts of history begin to unfold.
