June 25, 1834: These last three days I have had very little real communion with God, and have therefore been very weak spiritually, and have several times felt irritability of temper.
June 26, 1834: I was enabled, by the grace of God, to rise early, and I had nearly two hours in prayer before breakfast. I feel now this morning more comfortable.
Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
