August 22: Praying in Song – Revelation

As we’re entering our ninth section of the hour in prayer – let’s look at how we can sing in prayer!

Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Psalm 100:2

Almost 200 times in the Bible we find the word ‘sing!’ One day when we’re in heaven we will sing to the Lord!

[3] And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
[4] Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Revelation 15:3-4
