In Chronicles, Sarah Wilder exposes the disturbing truth behind the transgender agenda promoted by America’s leading medical organizations. Politicians and activists pushing radical procedures for minors have gone largely unchallenged, resulting in the mutilation and sterilization of children. Wilder points out that these children often become “lifelong consumers of the services offered to them by the same medical industry that brutalized them.” This is not healthcare; it’s a horrific betrayal of trust, driven by profit and ideology.
A recent court-ordered release of documents revealed that the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) worked directly with high-ranking officials in the Biden administration to push unscientific guidelines. Notably, Admiral Rachel Levine, a biological man identifying as a woman, pressured WPATH to remove age restrictions on these procedures, proving that the administration’s supposed neutrality on child sex changes is a lie. Wilder quotes the leaked emails: Levine was “very concerned” that age limits would “affect access to health care for trans youth” and even suggested ways to hide these guidelines from public view.
Wilder notes that major medical bodies like the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) have been complicit, lending their credibility to unproven and dangerous practices. The AAP continues to support child sex changes despite a lack of evidence. However, cracks are beginning to show; the American Society of Plastic Surgeons recently questioned the long-term efficacy of these surgeries, describing evidence in favor as “low quality/low certainty.”
As Wilder argues, “The so-called consensus has been manufactured.” The tide is turning, and the recent court documents will likely influence ongoing cases brought by detransitioners. Once the medical community faces economic repercussions from lawsuits, the industry’s radical agenda will finally be held accountable.
