In The Federalist, John Daniel Davidson makes it plain: there’s no going back, no so-called “unity” with those who have spent years tearing America apart. The media and their leftist allies in government waged a relentless campaign of lies and political violence against Trump and his supporters, openly mocking and despising everyday Americans. For years, they called Trump a fascist, compared him to Hitler, and claimed he would destroy democracy. Now, they expect us to turn the other cheek? Nonsense. The media institutions of the regime are propaganda outlets. They pushed lies for years. They have actively undermined the truth at every opportunity and tried to brainwash us.
The deep state also must face justice. The unaccountable bureaucrats in the DOJ, FBI, and IRS went beyond the bounds of the Constitution to target conservatives. They pursued Trump with sham investigations and lawfare and abused their power. Our neutral institutions of justice made a political attack on Trump. Special Counsel Jack Smith and FBI Director Christopher Wray shouldn’t just get to slink away. They should face serious investigation and consequences. They’ve proven themselves enemies of the republic.
Figures like New York Attorney General Leticia James and former Rep. Liz Cheney joined this crusade, using their positions to bankrupt, smear, and oppress their political opponents. Accountability here isn’t optional; it’s essential for any future peace.
Suppose we want unity; the radical left needs to face justice. We must protect our Constitution, the people’s will, and the rule of law. We cannot just let the radical left regroup in these four years to hit us harder in 2028. Now is the time to root out the corruption. The enemies of America must be held to account.
