What’s with Tim Walz’s Affinity for Chinese Communism?

Tim Walz’s past as a high school teacher in the 1990s reveals a disturbing admiration for the very ideology that stands as a direct threat to American freedom. When Walz extolled life under Chinese communism to his students, telling them that “everyone shares” and receives free food and housing, he wasn’t just offering a naive perspective; he was whitewashing one of the most brutal regimes in modern history. The CCP is responsible for the deaths of millions of its citizens. Walz portrayed it as some sort of utopian dream where the doctor and construction worker live in harmonious equality.

This rhetoric by Governor Walz shows a complete disregard for the horrors inflicted by communism. Communism is a system that has crushed individual freedoms, stifled innovation, and suppressed dissent. His comments are not just a relic of a misguided past. He has a deep and ongoing affinity for China.

Walz’s ties to China go beyond his classroom teachings. He has traveled to China extensively. He has participated in student exchange programs supported by the Chinese government. He even chose to honeymoon in China on the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre. Walz has longstanding connections to CCP-linked entities. These connections should raise serious questions about his loyalty to our great country.

Republican lawmakers and House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer are scrutinizing Walz’s ties to China, and they’re right to do so. The CCP is actively working to undermine American interests and infiltrate our economy and media. We can’t have a VP who is pretty friendly to China and downplays their adversarial nature towards our nation.

Tim Walz’s history of glorifying Chinese communism should disqualify him from holding any office in this country. America deserves leaders who understand the dangers of communism, not those who romanticize it.
